After high school I worked as a Lab Technician at Stanford Medical School from 1972-1983. Got drafted to CAL to work as a lab tech. from 1983 until 1990. Tired of commuting I moved the family to Phoenix. Was offered position as Lab Coordinator 1990-present. Favorite foods: BBQ Chicken, potato salad and ice cold beer. Updated 6-Aug-2008. Since high school… went to CSU Chico to party? No really, I did however play alot. Became a Ski Patrol in winter at Sugar Bowl, and a river guide in the summers… studied when there was time, and gained a BA in exercise phys, a BS in nursing, and many wonderful lifelong friends. Here I was also lucky to meet my best friend and now husband. We were married on the same day as our 10 yr. reunion, so I could not make it…sorry to miss those of you who attended. Now we live just outside Mt. Shasta on 5 acres, and have two boys, Patrick (31/2), and Andrew (17 mo). I work part-time at Mercy Hospital in Mt. Shasta as an RN in the operating room. My husband works for Cal Fire as a Fire Captain. We are all healthy and happy.

Updated 5-Aug-2008. The latest… After a seriously embarrassing length of time, the photos from the 2005 reunion are up! You can find them at the link below. I realized I was mentally stuck waiting to dress them up more, add captions, and all of that, when all I really should have done is just uploaded them. So that’s what we have now. Maybe I will slowly enhance them. Meanwhile, you can all guess who’s who if you weren’t there. (And sometimes you can read the nametags.) Photos here: http://www.theslyes.com/mvhs * * * After going to UC Santa Cruz for two years and studying art history, I worked at assorted jobs around the Bay Area, doing freelance graphic design and office work, living in Cupertino and Oakland for a while. Met Christy in 1991, married since ‘92 and living in Alamo (near Walnut Creek). I then got fascinated by typography […]
